Thursday Night Football

The Pensacola Sports Association is hosting Thursday Night Football at Seville Quarter on (you guessed it) Thursday nights !

Everyone is invited, but it certainly pays to be a PSA member.

Drafts of fine Lewis Bear/Bud products for PSA members are $1 and there will be weekly tailgating food specials for just PSA members (and their family members if they have an All-Star Family membership).

There will be weekly drawings for some big prizes.

PSA members who show up get an entry in the big drawing of the week. Last week it was Saints tickets with hotel accomodations.

If you do not win this week, your entry (and all past entries) stay in the big pot and you accumulate additional entries every week you make the party.

You show each week and you will be accumulating entries during the entire college football season for the ultimate prize...tickets to the SEC championship game!

Can't win the big prizes though unless you're a PSA member. Oh, and there is another drawing for other stuff that you are entered into. You have a chance to double-dip!

But there is hope if you are not already running with the big dog (PSA is one of the oldest sports commissions in the country!). If you're not a member yet, you can sign up on any Thursday night. You are then good to go for the entire season!

Grab some friends and some join us for a great time. You and a friend together have a better chance of winning those tickets (go ahead and do the math)

Bud Light Charity Challenge

The Pensacola Sports Association will present the 5th Annual Bud Light Charity Challenge Tennis Tournament on September 11 and 12, 2009 at Roger Scott Tennis Center. The designated beneficiary is ARC Gateway.

There is a waiting list to register to play (next year register early), but party passes for the weekend are just $20 a piece.

Mark your calendars now for a weekend of tennis, food, refreshments, and fun! Call the Pensacola Sports Association at 434-2800 for more information.

We Need Your Assistance!

Nike Block Grant.......

PSA applied for a Nike grant to help support the High School All-Star Series.

We need votes to help in the decision process. If you would like to participate, simply go to nikebackyourblock.com and click on our area of the USA map, then click on the Foley, AL location. The PSA name will appear, then all you have to do is click to vote. They'll e-mail you to verify.

Voting is accepted through September 15th and they accept only so many per day. Please keep trying.

Thanks!
