The Pensacola Sports Association (PSA) is pleased to announce a new co-host for Inside Sports, the PSA’s biweekly television show. Calli Koval, who is originally from Joliet, Illinois, is currently a senior varsity volleyball player at the University of West Florida majoring in Broadcast Journalism. In addition to working with the PSA, Ms Koval also interns with WEAR Channel 3 and works on the staff of the University of West Florida campus newspaper, Nautilus News.

Inside Sports, a live call-in talk show devoted to local, regional and national sports, airs every other Tuesday at 5:00 P.M. on Blab TV (Cox Channel 6 in Escambia County, Mediacom Channel 38 in Santa Rosa County).

Join the running crowd meeting at Running Wild, 3012 E. Cervantes St. in East Pensacola Heights on Saturday, January 24th for the 2009 Double Bridge Run registration party!
For everyone who registers for the Double Bridge Run at Running Wild on Saturday (cash or check only for race registration please) will get 10% off ALL MERCHANDISE in the store. The same will be true for registration for the Pensacola Marathon (i.e. 10% off all day) AND if someone registers for both the Double Bridge Run and the Marathon, they get 15% off all day.

The 2009 Double Bridge Run is scheduled for Saturday, February 7th, with the 15K starting in downtown Pensacola at 7 A.M. and the 5k starting in Gulf Breeze at 8 A.M. This year's race will feature 2700 U.S. Marines running the 5K course in formation. We encourage you all to come out and take part in this spectacular event!

SUNSET CLASSIC DISC GOLF TOURNAMENT

The 2nd annual Sunset Classic Disc Golf Tournament is scheduled for February 28, 2009 at Sunset Park, Gulf Breeze.

Fair Play Sports, Emerald Coast Disc Golf Club and the City of Gulf Breeze hosted the Sunset Classic Disc Golf Tournament on Saturday, February 23, 2008. This was the 1st Southern National -Sanctioned event; there were 119 players from the Southeast that played in the tournament.
