NEARLY NEW YEAR'S EVE, CAN DOUBLE BRIDGE RUN BE FAR BEHIND?

Come race through history at the 2009 Pensacola Double Bridge Run as the City of Five Flags Celebrates it’s 450th Birthday. The annual 15k run will start in historic downtown Pensacola, hug the waterfront, cross two bridges to the finish line at spectacular Pensacola Beach, the same location Spanish explorer Don Tristan DeLuna landed on August 15, 1559 establishing the first European settlement in America.

Saturday, February 7, 2009, the 15K race will begin at 7:00 a.m. in downtown Pensacola and the 5K race will begin at 8:00 a.m. in Gulf Breeze.

Prize money will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers of the 15K race again this year.

Early registration through December 31st at active.com or doublebridgerun.com.
