The PSA will host the first High School All-Star Volleyball Game on Saturday, Nov. 24th at the UWF Fieldhouse - 7:00 P.M.
It will be East (Santa Rosa and Okaloosa counties) vs. West (Escambia county), best 4 of 7 format.

Head coach for the East squad is Waynn Sellers of Gulf Breeze, assisted by Jodi Goetz of Pace and Regina Scott of Gulf Breeze; Head coach for the West team is Amanda Nikkel of Washington High School, assisted by Dana Gilmore of Tate High and Felicia Terhaar of Catholic High School.

Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for children 10 and under.

Local athlete at the NYC Marathon - David Mayo

New York was one wild scene!!! ...an amazing, inspiring spectacle!! The entire 26.2 mile course was lined on both sides with cheering crowds...there were 25+ bands along the route! I had been training for my first NY Marathon since July, and while I missed my goal by 2 min., I did better by 15 min. than any of my previous 4 marathons.

Most marathons have just 2 - 5 handcycles racing in them...NY had 55!! They had 40 'push rim' (old school) racing chairs! Not to mention 38,554 runners!!!

Lacrosse Clinic and Demo

There will be a Lacrosse Demo and Clinic put on by the Florida State Lacrosse Club Team-

December 8th at the Gulf Breeze Football Fields-

1 to 4 pm

The cost will be $55 a kid which will include t-shirt-

Gulf Breeze will be starting a Lacrosse program in February of '08 till Mid May!!
