BASEBALL CLINIC A SUCCESS, SOFTBALL COMING UP

The 2006 Gulf Coast Baseball/Softball Clinic has been a success so far! The baseball portion of the clinic was held March 4 at the University of West Florida. Players age 4 ½ to 14 came out to learn from the best: the University of West Florida’s baseball team! The campers learned fundamental techniques about catching, throwing, batting, and more. They also had the chance to get to know the UWF players, as well as get lessons from former Major League Baseball player Greg Litton. After a hard day of baseball, campers enjoyed hot dogs, chips, and drinks.

You can view pictures of the baseball clinic at our website, www.pensacolasports.com, under the “Galleries” section.

The softball portion of the clinic will be March 18 at the University of West Florida, and will be coached by the UWF softball team. Registration and check-in is from 8-9. The clinic is absolutely free, so tell anyone who knows a softball player to come out! We hope to see you there!
