Originally incorporated in 1955, the Pensacola Sports Association (PSA) is a private not-for-profit agency and one of the oldest sports commissions in the country.
PSA's annual events include the Pensacola Double Bridge Run, Annual Awards Banquet, High School All-Star Football, Volleyball, Soccer, Softball and Baseball games, Senior Scholar-Athlete Awards Banquet, Racquet Roundup tennis clinics, Bud Light Charity Challenge Tennis Tournament and Pensacola Marathon.

217 students were recognized at the Pensacola Sports Association's 2012 Senior Scholar-Athlete Awards Banquet presented by Sacred Heart Sports Care.
Two Gary McAdams Memorial scholarships were given out to Amelia Lane of East Hill Christian High School and Kelly Mamelson of Pensacola High.
22 individual sport winners were named, and two overall Senior Scholar-Athletes were unveiled at the end of the evening. Ryan Funk and Mary Kathryn Taylor, both of Pace High School, were awarded the titles of Overall Senior Scholar-Athletes. The remaining sport winners were: Baseball -- Brandon Peterson (Pace) Basketball -- Jordan Bennett (Gulf Breeze) and Kasandra Gilley (Milton) Cheerleading -- Kristen Taylor (Catholic) Cross Country -- Allison Blair (Jay) and Daniel Engel (Catholic) Football -- Jorgen Stolsig (West Florida) Golf -- Megan Inman (Catholic) and Trey Aquirre (Navarre) Soccer -- Emily Kaelin (Milton) and Max McDaniel (Gulf Breeze) Softball -- Katherine Worley (Milton) Swimming -- Zoe Macfarlane (Pensacola High) and Adam Gunn (Gulf Breeze) Tennis -- Sarah Tolan (Catholic) and Kyle Faxlanger (West Florida) Track -- Caristyn Golden (Jay) and Hunter Sport (West Florida) Volleyball -- Taylor Linton (Gulf Breeze) Weightlifting -- Katelyn Ezelle (Gulf Breeze) and Alex Brandt (Pace) Wrestling -- Taylor Flocken (Milton)

SUBWAY HIGH SCHOOL ALL-STAR BASEBALL AND SOFTBALL THIS MONTH
The 2012 Subway High School All-Star Baseball and Softball games will be played at the University of West Florida on Thursday, May 24th. The softball game will begin at 6 P.M. and the baseball at 6:30.
Rosters for the teams are being finalized now and will be published as soon as available. The senior players from the West (Escambia county) will take on the East (Santa Rosa and Okaloosa counties) in both games.
Tickets will be available at the gate, and there will be a discount for canned goods collected for Manna Food Bank.
