Originally incorporated in 1955, the Pensacola Sports Association (PSA) is a private not-for-profit agency and one of the oldest sports commissions in the country.
PSA's annual events include the Pensacola Double Bridge Run, Annual Awards Banquet, High School All-Star Football, Volleyball, Soccer, Softball and Baseball games, Senior Scholar-Athlete Awards Banquet, Racquet Roundup tennis clinics, Bud Light Charity Challenge Tennis Tournament and Pensacola Marathon.
BUD LIGHT CHARITY CHALLENGE TENNIS
Congratulations to all the players in the 2014 Bud Light Charity Challenge Tennis Tournament - it was a great weekend of exciting play, lots of cold refreshments provided by Bud Light and Sparkling Ice, good food and fun prizes and surprises!
A huge thanks to all the sponsors of the event, the staff at Roger Scott Tennis Center, wonderful volunteers from ARC Gateway and our own Pensacola Sports Association Board members who worked enthusiastically to ensure a good time was had by all..........mark your calendars for October of 2015 when we will bring this great event back for the 11th year.
Pensacola Futures Tennis is back this November
The 2014 Pensacola Futures Pro Men's Circuit tennis tournament returns to Roger Scott Tennis Center this November !
It is preceded by a Wild Card tournament that is open to the public November 11 - 13, and includes a Qualifier (sold out with 128 entries last year) and then the Main Draw Singles and Doubles competitions beginning Tuesday, November 18th. Championship matches will be Sunday, November 23rd.
There will be a Pro-Am event, Q & A with the Pros and youth clinics, with details on those events to follow soon!

The 2014 Gulf South Conference Men's and Women's Soccer Championships will be held at Brosnaham Park November 7th - 9th.
The University of West Florida men's and women's teams are the defending conference champions, but have plenty of talented competition in Christian Brothers University (CBU), among others; CBU is standing at the top of the conference for both men and women right now (October 14).
New schools competing this year are Shorter and Union, with another year before Mississippi College, Springhill College and Lee can compete for conference honors.
Four semi-final games will be played on Friday, November 7th and the Conference Championships on Sunday November 9th. Tickets will be available at the gate ($5 a day or $8 for a weekend pass).
A youth clinic will be held at Brosnaham on Saturday, November 8th; more details will follow soon about the clinic.
Nominations are now being sought for the 2015 PSA Board of Director; if you are a current member in good standing with PSA and you are interested in serving on the PSA Board, or, if you know of another active PSA member you would recommend, please let us know.
